What causes my 93jeep grand cherokee to studder&die unexpectedly and occasion will unexpectedly lung eithout touching gas pedal
JA: Has the vehicle turned into a gas hog? And how does it start -- same as usual?
Customer: Takes alot of gas. It starts fine
JA: What year is your Grand Cherokee?
Customer: 1993
JA: Are you fixing your Grand Cherokee yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I want to fix myself. Added fuel injectoon cleaner_and heet

The issue that you described is the same issue that I had with a jeep grand cheerokee V8. The reason I that this was happening is the intake plenum gasket is leaking. You would have to remove the intake manifold and replace this gasket.

Hi Im David, dont know why you opted the previous tech out, but you need to check for air leaks or vacuum leaks. engine running get a can of carb cleaner and start spraying around the intake plenum, air intake tube, and vacuum hoses and fittings. listen for a change in rpm.
