How would the coolant level make the vehicle not start? It was not over heating.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are many things that can cause a no start condition and it will require some testing to determine what is going on. You may be missing fuel due to a pump issue or a loss of power or ground to it, you may be missing spark for a number of reasons. The problem could also be an exhaust restriction, fuel quality or possibly an internal engine issue.

Have you checked for fault codes?
