are you referring to the rubber plug that has the antenna cable and power wires?

do you have the inner fenderliner out as of yet?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

Yes, I have been trying to replace this dumb antenna for the last 6 months, on and off.

I just need the way to get the dumb thing replaced so I can hear the radio.

Thanks, Bruce

i have done a few of these you need to pull the inner fender on the RIGHT side and using a NEW razor blade you cut the wires on the ANTENNA SIDE and cut the rubber plug STRAIGHT down top to bottom by placing the blade between the rubber plug and body that plug is VERY HARD from the factory and was hard as hell when new so i just cut the thing and remove it in 2 pieces

I ended up removing the fender.

Thanks, Bruce

well that's one way if a bit more difficult than cutting the grommet but the job is complete
