Was just in a wreck with a 2000 Cherokee Limited. Rear ended with only damage to the hatch and back quarter panel. Ins company is totaling the vehicle and intial offer was $1000 now it is $7,000. Had the straight 6 engine model.
JA: How many miles are on the car? Is it an automatic or a manual transmission?
Customer: 170,000
JA: Are you fixing your Cherokee yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No its an insurance claim trying to find out the market value of the engine and why they offered $1,000 intially and now its $7000
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
