im sorry they are not providing me the code info as normal you will need to take this to the dealer personally as they are requesting proof of ownership as in registration paperwork.

Even though I bought after someone upgraded there radio and I got it from them? Do you want proof of my vin?

they will want your vin and registration and quite possibly the orignal owners vin. its silly i know since factory radios are very rarly stolen but this is their protocol not mine.

pictures should work if you bring those with you. i wouldnt see them having a problem with that

normally yes. but with your situation they will not provide me with the stereo code. under normal circumstances say a disconnected battery they would provide me with that code.
