Hi, my name is ***** ***** is usually caused by a bad spot in the armature of the starter, and can be diagnosed pretty easily if you have a volt meter or test light, do you have either of these?

hello you stilll there
Expert:  Tim Mohr replied 1 month ago.

ok, when it wont crank over, you need to check the small wire at the starter, there are 2 wires, a large one coming from the battery and a small one coming from the ignition, have someone hold the key in the start position, and see if the small wire has power, if it does, and it wont turn over, then its a bad starter, and is very common,Tim

if it doesnt have power?

if it does not have power, then its most likely a nuetral safety switch that is bad, is this a manual trans or auto trans?

ok, if there is no power on that wire, put the shifter in neutral and see if it starts, and also wiggle the shifter, and see if it starts, if it does, then replace the neutral safety switch, but usually its a bad starter,Tim
