Same probl;em that everyone else has. Have 225,000 miles on it, and for the first time it stalled on me going 45 mph. The instrument cluster went completely blank. The radio and heater fan continued to run. Had it towed and when the car was dropped off after about 90 minutes it started. Since then after driving it for thirty minutes then turning it off and then trying to starting it again it wont start. the gas gage don't respond and notice that the electric fuel pump
doesn't turn on. After about thirty minutes it will start up again. What it the problem????????
JA: Have you ever replaced the fuel pump, or is this the original?
Customer: it's the orginal
JA: What year is your 225?
Customer: it's a 1999 jeep grand cherokee
JA: Are you fixing your 225 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: try ot figure out what the problem is first before having part replaced it's a 4.0 engine
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no, just can't take a chance on driving on a freeway until I know the problem has been fixed
