Hello, my name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you today. I am a technician at a Jeep dealer and have seen this before. This issue is caused by a failing seat track. horizontal cable assembly. The seat track assembly will need to be replaced. There are no serviceable parts for the seat track. If you would like to replace it yourself, I can look up the part number and send you the procedures for replacing it. Let me know if you want to do that. Otherwise have a shop or dealer replace it for you.
