Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are quite a few things that can prevent the starter from engaging and some electrical testing may need to be done to determine what is going on. The ignition switch actuator is a likely cause if there is no noise from the engine compartment when turning the key.

Do you have a test light?

Does the starter relay click when turning the key to the crank position?
