Customer Question

Hello, I just bought an RBZ 430 (SN-T 00 AM 042 5 T0595) from my friend and when we installed it it's asking for a security code. He never had a code and we can't find it anywhere in all of his purchase documents. Can you help with this?
JA: Do you have a scan tool to read the codes?
Customer: Yes I do.
JA: What is the model/year of your Jeep?
Customer: 2016 wrangler unlimited
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes, I'd like to et the anti theft code for the radio and unlock it.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Nope

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If you haven't already it would be a good idea to see if the seller of the radio has the code.

If not then there are two ways to obtain the code. Either way you're going to need the radio serial number and the VIN of the vehicle that the radio was removed from.

With the VIN, serial and proof of ownership your dealer's parts or service department can give you the code.

Another option would be to enter your information on this site.
