Customer Question

I have a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I got in and it started fine. I went to my destination less than 2 miles away. I got back in and it would not start. Did not even try to turn over. It did nothing. Help!!! I love my jeep.

Hello and welcome to just answer. Do the headlights come on? If so, are they good and bright?

The dash lights up, some lights work. We even tried jumping it. Nothing works.
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Sorry....dome lights I meant to say.
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
It says transmission over temp. When turning key.

Ok, try this next. Disconnect the negative battery cable for 2 minutes and then reconnect it. See if it will now start. Let me know.

Nope. It still doesn't work.

Hmmm, tell me when you turn on the ignition switch, do you see the red security light come on for about 3 seconds and then turn off?

Battery, brake, oil, seat belt, tire, as all light up

What about that little red security dot?

Chris

It came on as well.

Ok, try moving the shift lever to the neutral position and see if it will crank.

We tried that as well. No results

Hmmm, ok let's try something else. Open the hood and open up the fuse relay covers. See if you can locate the starter relay. Let me know.
