what's your skill level?
do you have and can you use a good teat lamp, can you jump a relay if i need you to?
do you have a good code reader OR preferably a good scan tool to retrive fault codes (if any)
there is a fairly common reason for a no start no crank BUT some tests should be done first
a multimeter will not show current flow only voltage, i would like you to jump the starter relay and see if the engine cranks if it does there is another problem if NOT the test light will be needed to determine if the starter has failed or a wiring problem has occurred
i need the vin to pull a correct wiring diagram so i can direct you to the correct relay
for this procedure you WILL need a heavy gauge jumper wire (12 gauge is best) with correct sized terminals attached
please read over this engineering case while i determine teh correct relay for you
your car does NOT use a starter relay so a test lamp will DEFINITELY be needed, on the starter there is a small gauge yellow wire this is teh signal wire to activate teh starter, with the key in CRANK there should be power here if there IS the starter has failed.
now the fun part the starter is between the intake and block and a bit of an asspain to get at but can be done
you have to pull the intake tube and POSSIBLY the throttle body i use a bright flashlight, mirror and needle nose pliers to get the terminal removed
the meter can tell you if you have voltage at that terminal BUT the test lamp will tell you if there is current flow
it's up to you to decide if you want to send a couple of bucks on a GOOD test lamp or use the meter you have
you never mentioned that, but our fuel pumps are quiet, do you NORMALLY hear the pump run?
did you read and check over the document i sent a link to?
