To clarify, it will crank but won't start or does it just do nothing at all?
You have tested for spark?
Can you hear the fuel pump buzz when you first turn the key to the run position?
You should hear the buzz back by the fuel filler neck.
That's good- the fuel pump is ok.
Check fuse #26 in the under hood fuse box and make sure it's not blown or loose.
If it looks ok pull the auto-shutdown relay in the under hood relay box and swap it with something else that uses the same size relay or with a new one-
If it still won't run then you will need a scope to check for a cam position signal and crank position signal.
You could also pull the oil cap or valve cover and then have someone else crank the engine and see if the cams are rotating.
I'm sorry, fuse #6 not #26.
Correction, it looks like 6 and 26 both feed power to that circuit. Let me see if I can get a diagram of the fuse box lid. It should be labeled, but sometimes they are hard to read.
Here are the fuses. If your jeep still has that spare relay next to the auto shut-down relay you can swap it in and see if it will run.
When you crank the engine does it sound like a fast unusual crank or does it sound fairly normal?
You will need a scan tool to see if you are getting a signal from the cam and crank sensors.- The engine uses those signals to tell when to spark.
If your scanner will show RPM data, crank the engine while watching for RPM data. If you don't see RPM while cranking then the sensor with no RPM signal on the data stream is bad.
I just wanted to check and see if you need any additional info.
