hi anthony

Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 4 months ago.

how many miles on it ?

have you tried turning to extreme left or right in parking lot and hold the steering in that position and make a circle and see if the noise gets louder ?

the pop back noise when you turn and the wheel is going back, i wonder if something hitting your steering linkage inside the engine bay

any work been done that could have contributed to this that you know off

does the steering feel smooth or heavy ?

please let me know

Thank You

128k yes I tried that but it doesn't get louder

It's almost like a pop back noise and steering feels good not heavy
Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 4 months ago.

suspension wize , you have upper & lower control arms, ball joint , sway bar bushing , sway bar links etc ... list goes on , if bushing is bad might make noise

we just have to determine is it a suspension noise or a steering situation , or physically there is part loose and hitting

have you raised on a service lift and check from under

Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 4 months ago.

if steering feels good , then i will concentrate on suspension issue , a bushing , ball joint , a frame bushing

raising on lift and physically look will be key here

any check eng light on

any abs / trac light on , or all good and car drives good
