I just bought a 2003 jeep wrangler rubicon. driving it home, the jeep started shaking really bad at around 60 mph. it also doesn't seem to have much power going up hills. this problem transmission or rear?

Hello Jim, Eddie here, did the check engine light ever come on? What about any other warning lights? temp? oil? did you see any warning lights on the dash at all? These rear ends are pretty stout, so I doubt anything is wrong in the ring and pinion. and if it wasn't slipping, and the RPM's racing up with the vehicle speed not responding, I wouldn't think it would be in the tranny either.
