Customer Question

I have a 2006 jeep wrangler that the door will not lock on the passenger side.
You can put the key in turn it and it still will not lock.
if you push in on the lock button on the inside of the door it will not push in all the way.

You should remove the interior door panel and inspect the linkage. Something may be bent or binding up in there.

The attachment below should help guide you to removing that panel. After it's removed, look all the linkage over really well. Attempt to operate the locks and see if you can't tell where the fault lies. If it all checks out fine then you may need a new latch, but I would bet it's just binding up linkage. If you need anything else, let me know.
