Customer Question

My daughter drove her 2007 Jeep Wrangler unlimited home from college. When she got home the engine was knocking. I checked the oil level and it was low. I changed the oil and filter, knocking stopped briefly but returned. How bad is the problem?

The engine has most likely suffered irreversible damage. Repair would consist of removing engine and installing new bearings
