Re: 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 L V-8, 210,000 km, new

Customer Question

Re: 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 L V-8, 210,000 km, new battery, connections all appear to be good. Starter will not turn over, does not even click at solenoid. However, if you hook up battery charger, and turn to 40 amps, putting 14.2 volts at battery, then go and turn key, it starts right up. If battery charger is at 10 amps, does not help situation at all. Thanks for any help you can provide.
