Customer Question

Hey Brad, My son just got a 1999 wrangler sahara. It seems to be stalling and sometimes running rough. We changed the tpc and the idle air arm. It is better but still stalls sometimes. Also it is now making a whistling sound, any thoughts?

Check for vacuum leaks ,could be coming from the intake manifold ,vacuum hoses

brake vacuum hose ,throttle body flange gasket ,

Use brake cleaner spray and spray round the manifold with the engine running any change in engine speed will be the vacuum leak area .

Would a vac leak cause the stalling?
