Have Jeep Questions? Ask a Jeep Repair Expert for Answers
Hi there. Thanks for using our service!
This issue could be caused by either a hydraulic issue such as low fluid, bad filter seal, etc.; or bad electrical components/connections (bad trans range sensor, harness connector, etc.); or disconnected or bro***** *****nkage. As this can get very complicated for someone who is not a professional tech, I recommend taking the vehicle to a qualified Jeep service center for diagnosis for anything beyond simple connectors, fluid level and shifter cable checks.
