Customer Question

I have a 1964 CJ-5 with a T-90 transmission. I changed the shifter today and I believe the transmission was in neutral when I started. Right now the shifter is frozen.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If the shifter won't move it's either because of a mechanical failure in the trans or because something during the shifter repair was misassembled or incorrect.

Did the shifter not move directly after replacing it or did it work at first?

Is the the trans in gear; does the vehicle move?
