I have a 2008 Grand Cherokee that will not go over 17 mph.

Hello, I have a 2008 Grand Cherokee that will not go over 17 mph. No codes on computer history. Shifts fine but will not accel past17. Engine will hold speed at 17 downhill also. Manual shift is locked out. Problem will clear and then reappear a couple days later.

Hello and welcome! My name is ***** ***** I can assist you with your question. As long as the transmission is shifting correctly when this problem occurs, then this problem will most likley be a bad/weak fuel pump or a bad throttle body.
