My positive and negative ends touched and now my jeep wont

My positive and negative ends touched and now my jeep wont start, I only hear clicking in the fuse box under the hood and nothing at the starter please help

Good evening and welcome to JustAnswer!!

I see that you accidentally touched the + and- and now it won't start.. I attached the wiring diagram for the battery and starter circuit. Does the starter even engage? If not remove the relay and tell me if pins 30 and 86 have 12v? Then connect a test light to positive and tell me if pin 86 has a ground signal when you have the key in the start position..
