Does the starter spin the engine over?

If not does the starter just click?

Or, when you turn the key nothing happens?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Does the starter spin the engine over? Yes it spins, plus this is a new starter just installed during the period the vehicle has been down. However it does not disengage, which was happening to the old starter. If not does the starter just click? No the starter works, it turns the engine.Or, when you turn the key nothing happens? When the key turns the starter engages, spins the engine but will not disengage unless I actually turn the key off.

Has the Jeep been scanned for codes?

If so, what are they?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
u1411 and po463 I know its an electrical problem because the fuel pump is not being energized when I hot wire the pump the car starts and runs when I disconnect the hot wire it stalls the fuses and relays are good.

P0461-FUEL LEVEL SENSOR 1 PERFORMANCE
U1411-IMPLAUSIBLE FUEL VOLUME SIGNAL RECEIVED
Did you have those two codes before you jumped the fuel pump?
And where do you hot wire to and from?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
there was only one code before u1411 the other code po 463 came after hot wire
Expert:  Chad replied 1 year ago.

From everything that I have found, and looking over the diag for the U1411 code, and what you are saying the vehicle does.

It sounds like you need to replace the FCM. Front Control Module.
