Country: United StatesMake: JeepModel: Grand Cherokee 4x4Year: 1995 Already Tried: used key to try to reset the security system throgh the door and the resr hatch thinking that might be the problem but i guess not.
Welcome and thank you for allowing me to assist you! The relays are not supposed to click like that. I have seen this more than once, and the problem has always been either a bad ground connection under the hood, or a failed PCM (engine computer). It is not a security problem. If it was, then the engine would start and die after 3 seconds. Have all ground wires at the battery, engine, and body (fender, near head lights, etc). You may be able to locate a problem by wiggling the harness under the hood in various sections while the relays are clicking, and if you can get them to stop, then look around that area of the harness you are moving. If none of this helps, then suspect a failing PCM, and have it replaced.
I hope this information helps, and let me know if you need further assistance with this.

hello, i will give you a rating as soon as i am able to try your suggestions to this problem , i am handy cap so bare with me thanks what is the best way to check out the computer ,doesent seem to be a bad conection
I can wait that is fine. The best way to check out the PCM is by using an older style scan tool if you can get one. Some auto parts stores will rent them out to you. Chris
