98 jeep cherokee: 4.0L..cylinder..order changing cap and wires

Resolved Question:

Need to know ignition sequence and wire order for distributor cap. Its a 98 jeep cherokee 4.0L 6 cylinder. Lost track of order changing cap and wires!

just tried but didnt fire will it hurt engine or freez it up or flood it if i keep trying different ways. should i put back the stock rotor and cap and try order again?

It will certainly flood it if you keep trying different ways. There is only one way........and that is the way it shows in the pic.

If you've been trying this for awhile, take the plugs out and make sure they aren't soaked in fuel because if they are it will never start.
