Hello Mybe I can help.
Is there a check engine light on?

NO ENGINE LIGHT ON, TOLD MAYBE CRANK SHAFT SENSOR?
Ok thank you.
It may be a crankshaft sensor. You should also know the engine requires the camshaft sensor as well for starting and may cause a stalling issue if the sensor goes shorted. I am not a parts replacer type technician so I like to see the part fail.
With that said I would like to see if your fuel delivery system is working without any air entering the low pressure side of the fuel system.
How do you feel about adding a piece of clear hose between the fuel filter and injection pump? You will make one circle with the hose. This will trap any air bubbles that form while the engine is running (stalls) . There should be no air in the system. It is known the hand prime plunger on your fuel filter leaks air into the system. May happen hot or cold. Either way it will cause stalling and no starts. Simple inexpensive test to insure it is not air.
I can instruct you further on how to do the test.

Having removed injectors and tested at local specialists - told all ok - now had tested in engine at working temperature and 2 injectors found to be leaking back excessively after short period. Hopefully this is our problem, however many thanks for your advice which may be of use in the future. Regards XXXXX XXXXX Webster
