Welcome to Just Answer Jeep my name is Mark.

This code essentially means the module is no longer responding and needs to be replaced. There is security programming that is required for this repair so your local shop or dealer has to do this for you.

Customer replied 1053 days and 19 hours ago.

Is there any troubleshooting tips you can give me. is there a trouble tree that I can follow somewhere inline that you know of?

Since this code indicates that the module is not communicating or sending messages to the rest of the vehicle a simple test to see if the module is getting power and ground is all that is required.
If the module has power and ground then it needs replacing.

Does this have anything to do with the instrument cluster not working?

Yes, if the communication bus ceases to operate due to a failed module then it will affect the cluster too because the cluster relies on the bus to get it's info.
