Hi I have checked to voltage. I have three different reading on three different wires. Whitch one is the singal wire. I did have a reading above 5v and reading on the other wires of 2.7 and 3.5v Is this a bad sign?

Expert:  supertech replied 6 years ago.

Pin 1 is 12 volts when the heater for the oxygen sensor is on when the engine is first started. Brown / violet wire

Pin 2 is the ground, black/light green

Pin 3 is the return signal the voltage will go up and down here. brown/dark green wire.

Pin 4 should have 12 volts also.

Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you, have a lot of other things to deal with.

So what does it mean that I do not have 12v on any of these pins when the engine is running?

Expert:  supertech replied 6 years ago.
There is either a open in the circuit or shorted wire.
