  • Install the bedplate retaining bolts, making sure to place the stud bolts in the correct location, Torque the bolts in the sequence shown
    • Tighten bolts A - L to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.)
    • Tighten bolts 1-10 to 2.8 Nm (25 in. lbs.)
    • Turn bolts 1-10 an additional 90°.
    • Tighten bolts A1- A6 to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.)

 

Connecting Rod Cap Bolts 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.) + 1/4 turn

Tighten the bolts in sequence using the following steps and torque values:

  • Step 1: Tighten bolts 1 - 10 to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.) .
  • Step 2: Repeat Step 1. Verify that bolts 1 - 10 reached 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.) .
  • Step 3: Tighten bolts 11 - 14 to 14 Nm (10 ft. lbs.) .
  • Step 4: Turn bolts 1 - 10 90 °.
  • Step 5: Turn bolts 1 - 10 an additional 90 ° .
  • Step 6: Tighten bolts 11 - 14 to 26 Nm (19 ft. lbs.)
