i have a 2006 Jeep Liberty Diesel.The engine light is constantly on. When I have taken it in I have been told the EGR system is not working. They repair the problem the light goes off and comes back on in a week. I no longer have a warranty and I do not believe the diagnosis. What can be done to get this engine light off and keep an eye on this RGR issue?

What code are you getting from the computer?
Does AJR 2815 mean any thing. I took this off the paperwork on the repairs. I have them all and this code is repeated on each job concerning EGR.Thomahawk 194740116.8516563657

Have been trying to find information on the code you gave me but can't find any....Do you by chance have any additional information?
I went through all of my paper work. I found the following. P0401Low EGRFlow control. Replaced failed EGR Control Valve.Another code stated wasP010. Paper work also talks about cleaning the cooler and sensor. I wold be happy to send copies of all this if it would help..Thomahawl 1947
I found the code P0401 are you sure about the number P010?
I am sure it was included with the other code PO401 which references failure of EGR'Thomahawk 1947
Has the mass aif flow sensor been checked/cleaned?
Has the egr air flow control valve been replaced?
