1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo: disable..the factory alarm system

Resolved Question:

How can I permanently disable the factory alarm system in my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo? I've heard you can just cut the purple and yellow wire. Does it need to be grounded? If it needs to be spliced, what gauge wire do I need? Is there just a fuse I can pull instead?

You can ground the Violet / Yellow wire located in the Driver Kick Panel / Door Boot.
This will DisArm the Factory Alarm, until you disconnect it.

Also, once the Jeep is running, you can remove the VTSS Relay, behind the Glove Box & that will Disable the Alarm. Be sure to remove it ONLY when the engine is running.
