04 Jeep Liberty: replaced spark plugs..3.7 V6 and OBD..coil

Customer Question

Just replaced spark plugs on my '04 Jeep Liberty, 3.7 V6 and OBD is giving error code P2302 "ignition coil no. 1 secondary circuit insufficient ionization". Okay, layman's terms please; what is insufficient ionization? What is cause? How fix? i will pull & reinstall that plug while waiting for answer.

Basically insufficient ionization means that the spark is too short or not present.

Generally the coil is bad or the plug is gapped way too big or too small.( a bad plug could cause this also).
