Hello, and thank you for choosing Just Answer!

You get the rubber ones, to put back in it. Simply because the metal ones have to be put in perfectly, or it won't work. there are special tools for this, but the rubber ones are better, and easier to work with. Just make sure you get the right size. So when you go to the store with it, bring the old one.with you, and have them measure it.

To get it out is no big deal, though, just put your big punch (not pointed), and knock in one of the edges, and pull it out with some pliers..

Anyways, to tell you what it takes to change the freezeplug.. I need to know which one is leaking.

And.. you got the 4 or 6 cylinder engine.
