Hello, my name is***** you driven the vehicle since?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I have not.

Thank you. I would check the fluid in the transmission first. If it is low then this can occur. If the fluid is really dark or burnt then it may be a transmission failure. I have also seen this occur if there is a lack if voltage in the system. A bad alternator or a failure in the battery cable connections can cause this so they need to be checked also.

There's no way to check fluid level. It's a sealed system.
Expert:  FixItMan replied 4 months ago.

It can be checked through the drain but it can only be filled with the proper tools. If there is not a leak then the fluid level should be fine. Do you have a scan tool to check for codes?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
No, I will have autozone run a scan
Expert:  FixItMan replied 4 months ago.

If possible bring me the codes and lets see if we can take another route on this. Hopefully the transmission has not failed.
