2013 jaguar xj supercharged 3.0 running rough sending white smoke thru left exhaust. Reading says 4,5,6 injectors misfire gas smell at tailpipe.Codes say P0087 fuel rail pressure low and P00C6 fuel rail pressure too low engine cranking

Sounds like we may have injectors leaking. This will cause your issue. The injectors will most likely need to be replaced. I have also run into a couple of oxygen sensor issues but usually those codes point to leaking injectors.

What do these mean? Are they sensors or controllers that might cause these symptoms? injectors are $432.00 each

Another possibility is an issue with the high pressure fuel pump timing. A special tool is used to check the timing. The vacuum pump is removed and with the crank at a certain spot the tool fits into th fuel pump cam.
