Just replaced window regulator motor, then it stopped

Customer Question

Just replaced window regulator motor, then it stopped working almost immediately. It was working intermittently before. Beginning to think it's the switch, so we were looking for info on testing.
JA: How many miles are on the car? Is it an automatic or a manual transmission?
Customer: It's Automatic 2004 S-type. 150,000 miles
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes. We replaced the window regulator motor so far. We had two other windows that had an issue but they are working after replacing the regulator motor. This one seems to be more of a problem.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: I can't think of anything.

Will the window lower and raise using the global feature? You can press and hold the interior locking switch with all the doors closed or use the key in the driver door lock cylinder and hold it to the unlock side and all the windows will lower. Let me know.
