I need to change back brake pads on jag xf
JA: How old are the rotors? How many miles are on the car?
Customer: 80000miles car is 60 plate
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: have taken apart cant get plunger to go back in
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: no have changed front ok . but cant get back plunger to go back in

Hi there,

The rear pistons need to be wound in, unlike the front which just push back.

There is a piston wind back tool for this purpose.
