Jaguar Xjs convertible: My 1994 XJS 6 cyl stopped running after

Customer Question

My 1994 XJS 6 cyl stopped running after sustained 75 mph and seemed to be out of gas. We had filled it up and driven about 180 miles and the computer showed we burnt only 8.1 gallons. Gas gauge is bad in car and is pegged.
We towed it to Jag and they couldn't find any thing wrong on road test the following morn. They let it run for 2 hours and all was okay. What do you think?
