my dash says, restricted engine performance and it shakes like it needs a tune up, how can i fix it and what should i look for?

We may have a problem with one or more ignition cois causing this. This will give you the misfire and warning message. To be sure we will need to have the system scanned for the stored fault codes. A Jag factory tool will be needed to do this but we can try using a compatible OBD II tester available at your local parts store to see if we can read faults. If we have a cylinder missfire code P0301-P0308 or coil fault P0351-P0358 then we need to check the coils. It can also be a vacuum leak or other sensor as well. We should also chck the intake tubes and vacuum pipes for any damage. Let me know.
