A Jaguar mechanic says he can change both motor mounts at same time . Is this possible and could he damage oil pan doing so?

That can be done if the front sub frame is lowered. The easier way is to do one at time jacking the engine up on one side since it can go higher when only one mount is removed. Either way it is a few hours job by the book. The way most do it is one at a time.
