My parking brake on my 2008 s type jag is in locked

Customer Question

My parking brake on my 2008 s type jag is in locked position. I have tried disconnecting battery & brake module, but still shows "break fault"?

This is usually caused hy a weak battery as low voltage on start up can be the cause. I'd so then the battery may need to be replaced and the parking brake module reprogrammed. It could also be a bad motor. Since it is locked we will need to try and jump the motor. I will send over the info.
