my s type seems to loose compression when the engine gets hot, can this be because the fault code p1647

That code P1647 is for the upstream oxygen sensor on bank 2 which is the left side exhaust. Usually this will not cause any performance or driving issue. If we are losing compression then we need to perform a leak down test to see if we may have a problem with the headgasket. Let me know.
