What year and model Jag? When locking it using the key or remote does this or is it when unlocking.

XJ8 2000 Sedan 4L Locking with key - don't have a remote.

There is a micro switch in the latch where the rod goes in front the lock cylinder. We need to make sure that it is properly installed. Sounds like the global is activating. When you hold the key to unlock all the windows lower and when you hold it to lock they all will raise.
