Jaguar XK-8: my 2001 Jag XK8 just died completely while I was

Customer Question

my 2001 Jag XK8 just died completely while I was driving on a busy road the other day. Many lights and buzzers went off and Transmission Fault appeared on the message window. It would not start immediately, but after a few minutes it did start and ran like in limp home mode. I manager to get it home, and after a while I tried again and it started and ran as normal. I just went out and tried again, and it is running good again. I tried to check for codes, but none come up on my reader. Suggestions?

Hello and welcome to justanswer.com
When it dies did the engine completely turn off?
If so when it did not start did it crank but not start or not even crank?
