chain tensioners secondary and primary when fixing tensioners the secondary say to remove the backing plate and install new shorter screws did that. the primary tensioners do not say to remove or keep backing plate which is correct keep or remove I am installing gen 3 tensioners thanks

The top secondary tensioners are shorter which is why new bolts are needed. For the front primary ones the latest style should have the plate on them so the bolts should be the same length.
