Jaguar Vanden Plas: I have a 1996 Jaguar Vanden Plas (X300).

Customer Question

I have a 1996 Jaguar Vanden Plas (X300). Just recently the steering wheel starts to shake at around 75 mph. I have also noticed that the car sways a bit at high speeds. It has new Nitto high performance tires and 16" inch Helo rims. I'm thinking bearings...what's your take on it?

Hello and welcome to justanswer.com
Yes it very well could be. We need to make sure we do not have any excessive movement in the bearings. I also recommend we have the wheels and tires road forced balanced just in case we have an imperfection or defective tire. We also should have the alignment checked as well. Let me know.
