Jaguar XJ8: 1999 jaguar xj8 will not start. It has been happening

This answer was rated:

1999 jaguar xj8 will not start. It has been happening every 3000 miles when the oil needs to be changed. Replaced the plugs and changed the oil and checked for spark and that is good. Smell gas but the plugs are dry when removed. What is causing this nightmare?
Hello and welcome to

Try squirting some oil down into the cylinders to see if the engine will start and also spray some carb cleaner into the air intake to see if the engine will start and run on the spray. Let me know.
