Jaguar XJ8: How much does it typically cost to have a rear

This answer was rated:

How much does it typically cost to have a rear air shock replaced on a 2004 jaguar xj8 ?
Hello and welcome to

The shocks are costly. The part is about $800 and the labor is about 1.5 hours. I will need the last six of your VIN to get an accurate parts price.

Ok thanks.

A new shock from Jag lists for around $1250.
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Oh dear god. I can't afford that. I owe 8,000 on it....guess its going to sit in my driveway for a while. Thanks for the help.

Sorry for the bad news. I have other sources for discounted Jag parts and there are aftermarket components available but it is a costly repair.
