Hello and welcome to justanswer.com

First we need to check the cable connections to make sure they are clean and secure. Next we need to check for voltage at the fuse boxes to see if there is a mega fuse that is blown. If you follow the positive cable from the battery you will locate the mega fuse block in the trunk. We need to check for power at both ends of that fuse. Let me know how you make out.

I am at work at the moment, but will check this when I get home tonight.

Is it possible that the earth bolts at the back of the engine bay can fail - or am I getting ahed of myself and need to check the boot cable first.

Regards

The engine is grounded through a braided cable. Even if this cable is off you should still have electrical power to the vehicle and all the accessories should all work.
